After the launch, a panel discussion comprising Dr Stephen Macharia, the head of the Writing Centre at Strathmore and Jerusha Kananu, an author and theatre expert, analysed the book. The discussion was moderated by award-winning journalist, scriptwriter, and filmmaker Anthony Njagi. In attendance was John Sibi-Okumu, who wrote the book’s foreword and other educationalists from different universities.
However, even after paying the ransom, her abductors didn’t keep their part of the bargain. That was until today in the morning when she came with tears in her eyes and confessed.
