I was among the first to be given the opportunity by Christopher Wainaina of Alliance Française de Nairobi to be hosted at the Mbogi ya MaWriters program on 25 January 2020. I launched my second novel then. A year later, the Mbogi ya MaWriters had grown to draw the attention of John Sibi-Okumu to host it, with live recording later uploaded on the Alliance Française de Nairobi YouTube Channel.
Thus, this year, on 28 January 2021, John Sibi-Okumu asked me some tough questions about my writing, and I launched my third novel. Now, a half-way into the year, on the back of the Mbogi ya MaWriters sessions that aim to promote new writing from Kenya, comes another platform, the NYrobi Book Fest at the Alliance Française de Nairobi. The book fest will celebrate the culture of reading and writing, encourage the sharing of trends and ideas, connect publishers, distributors, authors, illustrators, artists, and readers.
I will be there to talk about my books, book sign, and interact with all of you, good people. Come one, come all; tag a friend.
